Residency NIE requirements

The documents to obtain the residency card differ for which reason you are in Spain. To get your residency card you have to prove why you want to stay in Spain for longer than 3 monts. The reason for this is that they want to avoid the dependence of the foreigner on the Spanish social system. So to get the tarjeta de residencia you have to proove you came to Spain eather

• to work
• to study
• to start the business
• to acompany family member

or if you cannot proove any of the above mentioned, you have to certify that you have a health insurance valid in Spain and enought funds for living.
